I don't have a sleeping disorder, but I am looking
for information about a man who I read about somewhere (on a website or in
the newspapers), who went without sleeping for several months without
consequences or major side effects AFAIK.

Perhaps I can interest you in buying a certain bridge located in Brooklyn, NY.
It is supposely impossible to do this. there is a sleeping sickness and one
guy who had this died eventually because they could not treat it.
People who say they do not sleep are not really telling the truth. In the
sleep tests that we take at the lab with lots of wires it is very hard to
sleep and we sometimes think we have not sleep but the report shows
otherwise.
