Question:
herbs for insomnia?
Answer:
my personal favorite is this:
one-quarter teaspoon of valerian root
one-quarter teaspoon of skullcap
one-quarter teaspoon of lady's slipper
put the herbs together in one cup of boiling water
(but NEVER NEVER boil valerian root!)
allow it to cool before you drink it.
other herbs that some people use for insomnia:
-basil
-catnip
-chamomile
-hops
-lemon verbena
-passionflower
-violet leaves
(i find that most of these work best when made into tea).
good luck--sweet dreams!
Nature's Way (I think) has a melatonin with Valerian Root, and
there is another brand that has melatonin with Kava Kava...
most every brand, just about, also has a few miligrams of B-6, too...
at least the ones sold at the store I am a cashier at does...
we even do mail orders 1-800-448-8075
(and, if you call, tell `em you got this info from the internet,
as I am trying to get the store to do more internet promotions
and web page... I don't wan to be a cashier forever!)
