Question:
It seems most posts here refer to CPAP's and Sleep Apnea - are there any
folks out there with circadian rhythm (cyclical) sleep disorders)? I've
been struggling with one for years and would appreciate hearing your
stories and insights.
Answer:
There is a site somewhere, really good, devoted to delayed sleep phase
syndrome (dsps). I lost my bookmarks, I think its within a university
or college host site somewhere like (this isnt it
UCSD.ac/smith77/dsps.htm)
Our site has some stuff www.outsidein.co.uk/nac.htm and etc
There is a web site for the Society for Light Therapy and Biological Rhythms:
.
If you haven't located a circadian rhythm specialist, I suggest you do so.
Many of the accredited sleep disorders centers have someone on staff who treats
circadian rhythm disorders. For the closest accredited sleep center, see
. You can call them and ask whom they recommend. Hopefully you
will get some help using light and other cues to keep your biological clock
synchronized with the rest of the world.
