Fish Oil Alternative Treatment To Ritalin For ADHD-Study ?

Question:
A total of 30 of these children were told to eat a chocolate fish oil spread on bread each day. After a 3 month time period, 20 out of 30 of these children showed significant improvement when a psychological re-evaluation was performed. The rest of the children did not have any treatment. Although the results are exciting the researchers caution that this is preliminary findings and more research will be needed.

Another study that reinforces fish oil as an alternative treatment to ADHD was an extensive study of children in Durham, U.K. The study covered school age children that were behind a year from their peers, many had ADHD. The results showed dramatic improvements in speech, behavior, and in reading. The fatty acid supplements were a combination of omega-3 and omega-6 and are essential for the body to function well.

Answer:
I am familiar with the medical center as it is part of The Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center and I was a visitor there many years ago. Quality care, 99.9% Jewish staff.

And then there is the following alternative ...

This seems to be the same study:

But the effective dose was not fish oil. It was a "natural oil-based alternative to...Ritalin".

Fish oil was one of the other doses in the same study. It showed modest improvement over canola oil, but the oil-based mystery stuff was the one caused a 60% improvement.

They are not prepared to go public yet with the oil-based mystery stuff.

I tried fish oil, it didn't help the ADHD that I have, but there are these eye drops with omega 3 fish oil that this doctor says is good for dry eyes which I get from severe insomnia from a damaged sleep center in my brain.

I found these drops quite effective. It has made the difference between being in such agony from injuring my eyes because they would get so dry they would get stuck to my eyelids at night and I'd wake up screaming in agony and be unable to see well enough to drive for hours, and having no such trouble at all.
