Question:
My husband has suffered from CFS for several years. This was off handedly
diagnosed by his general doctor. He has been through tons of tests, to an
allergist, ear nose & throat specialist, and sleep clinic. H does have a
slight sleep apnea problem for which he is being treated, but it hasn't helped
him. My question is what kind of specialist should he be seeing? My
rhuematologist was very vague when I asked him. I would appreciate some help
from anyone that has had experience with this.
Answer:
He should seek a good nuero and endo specialist.
If you have a good general M.d. he should be able to stear you in the right
directions.
Re ask your General and be firm with letting him know you won't be brushed
off....
Be sure to take all test results with you so they don't run you ragged
retesting...or your pocket book....or sign the waiver so all test results can
be obtained from the new M.D.s for review.
