Question:
6-9 months ago a friend of ours was diagnosed with chronic fatigue
syndrome... it continues to worsen. He is 40+ years old, married with no
children and upscale. His condition has caused him to take a disability
leave from his job - he is only able to sleep about one hour a night, has
literally hundreds of food allergies (it's easier to make a list of things
he can eat or drink) and is slowly withering away... his top four allergies
are sugar, milk, bananas and wheat. Is the chronic fatigue causing
allergies or the allergies causing the chronic fatigue? He goes to a
chronic fatigue clinic in Washington, D.C. in March and is currently seeing
a specialist at OSU. Has anyone dealt with this? Have any success stories?
Know of ways/treatments to deal with it?
Answer:
I'man EE not a Er- but from my experience please ask him to see an allergist who
will also testfor intestinal parasites.
Lots of options ! Need to check as many as possible,
Bad fish (Sushi) did that to me. My MS has made getting rid of them hard.
I doubt chronic fatigue is causing the allergies- but little sleep with diff
foodsthan normal may throw a body off!
