causes of constant/unexplained fatigue

Question:
what are the various possible medical causes of constant (rather) and unexplained fatigue? whereby you get tired and out of breath easily, and feels an overwhelming fatigue regularly while simply doing normal chores.

i've read about Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, but Chronic Fatigue Syndrome seems specific to severe fatigue that has an onset and not one that has been existing since birth. mvp, according to my doctor, is quite common and does not cause these symptoms. would appreciate any possibilities.

Answer:
Is fatigue the ONLY symptom whatsoever that you have? Any other health problem at all? Many reasons for fatigue would result in some other health problem, even things that seem unrelated, so telling more information, and your age, would help.

You can you have a nutrient absorption problem, so if you have tried everything else, you could always try taking supplements or changing your diet. Many people have found that a low carbo diet like the zone diet helps their energy level. Avoiding certain common foods like dairy or wheat might be useful. B12 and magnesium deficiencies can cause fatigue, but they would cause other symptoms. You might have an amino acid deficiency, although that could be tested for.

Is your sleep normal? Do you sleep through the night or do you wake up in the middle? A sleep disorder can cause fatigue.

it is possible to get problems like Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and fibromyalgia at a very early age. I know someone with fibromyalgia who said that they basically were in pain all their childhood and just felt it was normal.
